TCS headline the show at Stanley's Circus

London & Manchester
May 30th, 2002

The opening of the high profile Stanley’s Circus Casino in Manchester city centre on the 22nd of May demonstrated a strong relationship between the TCS group and Stanley Casinos.

This new casino aims to appeal to both serious players, and newer customers visiting as a part of a night out. To this end, a mix of differing products have been installed from the TCS portfolio, to create the right balance of games, and to fit with the design and theme of this new development.

Key to the excitement of this opening, is the installation and launch of the progressive poker game. The four tables use Shuffle Master technology including the unique bet detection system, and are linked on a local area network. Extra security for the potentially high revenue game is brought by the addition of Ace shuffling machines, again from Shuffle Master. Player information is also vital for this new game, and the TCS Paltronics LCD and plasma display systems add the final touch to the package.

King shufflers were also supplied, marking a decision by Stanleys to acknowledge the benefits gained by the use of shuffling machines on Black Jack tables.

In order to ensure a unique image consistent with the casino as a whole, the TCS design team worked with Stanleys on every gaming table supplied – blackjack, three card poker, sic bo, punto banco, craps, money wheel and progressive tables. All were custom designed and built in the UK, using quality materials.

Central to any UK casino opening, is the inclusion of the Novo Multi Roulette system from Novomatic, with 32 terminals taking a high profile on the gaming floor. The full complement of slots also come from Novomatic – including two of the recently approved Beetlemania with      £2 000 jackpots.

Finally, no installation would be complete without the famous Chipper Champ Plus – one on each roulette table – plus TCS displays.

“This was a fantastic opportunity to work with Stanleys on such a ground-breaking project - fitting our full product range with the strategic intentions of the management team” said TCS Marketing Director Kate McLennan, “Providing a tailor-made package for the casino, with the correct balance of games mix, technological development, and design is a challenge we enjoy rising to.”
