TCS declare ICE was red hot!

TCS had a record-breaking show all round this year.

London
1st February,  2002

At a critical time in history for UK gaming, a main objective of the show for TCS was to ensure that UK operators had the chance not only to see the new proposed games in operation – but to talk to other operators and the TCS team from overseas who had a working knowledge of the games. “To see a piece of equipment - however hi-tec is one thing – but to share views and ideas on what these games can mean to the business and players and is different again. TCS should be seen as a business partner and not just a supplier,” said CEO Simon Herbert.

With visitor numbers of UK casino managers to the stand reaching a record high, workshops were held at the show for management from all of the casino groups. These were pre-arranged to support operators in their planning for the introduction of these games. Information on all aspects of the games from pit layout, staffing, and procedures – to player profiles and margin issues was discussed. Workshops of this kind are now planned to continue at TCS centres throughout the country due to the positive feedback received.

Of course, vistors from overseas were plentiful and most welcome – with increasing emphasis on the roll-out of Touchbet Roulette, management systems and jackpot controllers.

Orders for the latest casino slots reached record levels for a gaming show.

New products received massive amounts of interest, with WinAR, Cyberview terminals, TableMax and Securedrop creating crowds with requests for demonstrations.

This was also that first year that TCS could work in tandem at the show with TCS Funtime, who exhibited at ATEI. Flow of customers could be directed between the two stands, showing the synergies between the companies in terms of new and used machines, and new developments such as ‘Play & Win’.

TCS being awarded best stand 2002

Finally - proud to have been awarded the ‘Best Stand’ title for TCS, Kate McLennan, Marketing Director said “This year it was very important to us to make a statement about TCS, and our brand image of technological advancement and innovation  – and it’s great to have been recognised for the impact we created. However the most important factor was to have the right products on display to make our customer’s trip worthwhile and to show them that TCS have the gaming solutions for the future”.
