2002 South Pacific Finals
TCS aces, the Sydney based representative of the worldwide TCS Group, today
announced details of a Casino Dealers Championship which they hope will
become the basis for a worldwide competition. The TCS aces International
Casino Dealers Championship will pit representatives from many of the Casinos
in the region against one another in a competition to be run in conjunction
with the Australasian Gaming Expo to be held in Sydney later in August.
The tournament will run over the three days of the Show.
sure dealers are up to date with the latest technology, they will be compelled
to deal the Blackjack game with a Shuffle Master KING continuous shuffler,
and use the latest Chipper Champ Plus on the roulette table.
will be selecting their own representatives and entering dealers they feel
best qualified to take out the Championship”. commented Keith Thornton,
Sales & Marketing Director at ACES. “The finalists will be judged
on 15 minutes dealing Blackjack and 15 minutes at roulette, the judging
criteria are extensive and we’ve designed the tournament rules to be as
fair as possible. Every operator we’ve spoken with about the Championship
is enthusiastic. We’re expecting a great team of highly professional
dealers in Sydney for the finals which will be run on our Stand at A.G.E.”
it’s a great idea, a wonderful way to encourage our dealers to fine tune
their dealing and customer service skills. The first prize, an all
expenses paid trip for two to the G2E Show in Vegas is certainly a huge
incentive and a suitable reward for the best dealer in the region.” commented
Paul Kruger, Executive Director of Gaming Operations at Conrad Treasury
Casino in Brisbane.
