MIS Group achieves major success in Switzerland with three systems contracts

Monaco
April 2nd, 2002

MIS Group, based here, today announced that three of the largest casinos in Switzerland Bern, Lucerne and Baden have signed contracts for the installation of the company’s GALAXIS on-line gaming system.

Negotiated by GRIPS, the MIS Group company located in Graz, Austria, the contracts include GALAXIS modules for slot accounting, table game management, local area progressives and, in the case of Lucerne and Baden, cashless gaming.

Christian Fabre, President and CEO of the MIS Group, said: “We’re certainly pleased to have been awarded these contracts in what was a very competitive arena. It’s further proof that the GALAXIS system, which has been proven throughout Europe for the last 10 years, is the best system on the market today. We designed GALAXIS to be very flexible and customizable, and that approach appears to be what the market desires.”

Fabre said he expects the company to have further success in Switzerland, one of the world’s newest casino gaming jurisdictions.

The MIS Group, which includes Monaco Information Systems (MIS), GRIPS, MIS International/USA (formerly Gaming Systems International), the MIS European Alliance and MIS Innovation Technology (MIT) is one of the leading technology companies in the gaming industry today, offering casino operators around the world an integrated, multi-platform solution to casino management.
