MOHAWK TERRITORY OF KAHNAWAKE
March 28th, 2002

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) today announced it has mandated Frank Catania and the National Fraud Center (NFC) to investigate and evaluate allegations concerning Sunny Group, Inc’s disconnection from the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake.

According to Alan Goodleaf, KGC Chairman, Frank Catania will compile, evaluate and report NFC’s investigative finding to the KGC. The review will provide the KGC with a full accounting of facts surrounding all allegations. The review will enable the KGC to determine whether there has been any breach of its Regulations and to take whatever measures may be appropriate.

“The commissioners together decided that an independent third party review of the recent circumstances and allegations made by permit holders was appropriate. We expect to benefit from the unique gaming regulatory and compliance experience of Mr. Catania and NFC,” added Goodleaf.
