    Gala Casinos chose their Casino in Nottingham, as a beta test site for John Huxley's revolutionary Rapid Roulette.  The system has just completed a very successful trial period which has resulted in Gala confirming orders for a further 6 systems for their estate, bringing the total number of units for the group to 74.
 

Rapid Roulette has proved to be extremely popular with players due to the fact that the dealer is still present to spin the wheel and interact with them. Players no longer feel intimidated as they have their own individual touch screen layout to place bets, with wins indicated in an easy and user friendly format.

   Gala have found that Rapid Roulette has increased play during the trial period to unprecedented levels by offering something new for their players and more importantly increased levels of turnover, security and game speed.

    The new Diamond Lounge at Burswood International Resort, Perth - Australia has recently opened with brand new tables and equipment supplied by John Huxley. Matthew Gammon, worked tirelessly to ensure that the 12 Blackjack, 4 American Roulette and 2 Midi Baccarat tables were delivered along with full operational accessories, roulette wheels and Infinity Plus systems.

    In preparation for the allowance of the proposed new games for UK Casinos,
John Huxley has received orders (subject to legislation allowing) for Sicbo Tables, Money Wheels and Progressive Casino Stud Poker Systems.

    '...The latest range of new games products on show at the ICE in London were very well received and the market has responded very well to our exceptional range of products...' commented a spokesman for John Huxley.

    '...Our 106 bet Sicbo table has been particularly popular with orders taken for over 20 tables.....the 50 bet version has also been requested in both rectangular and Blackjack style formats...'

    Progressive Poker for both Local and Wide Area Networks is of course the most anticipated product, however Sicbo is going to be available in the majority of UK Casinos along with a modest roll-out of Money Wheels.

    The latest One2Six Shuffling machine has been undergoing field trials with both UK and International Operators with great success.  The One2Six Shuffler is the only shuffler on the market that can operate both as a single deck and multi deck unit.
 
 

    The latest One2Six shuffling machine went on show for the first time in South Africa last week after the initial launch in London at the ICE in January.

    The response was incredible with Sun International, Global Resorts and Tsogo Sun all showing a real interest.

    With the interchangeable attachment, the machine can switch between shuffling single
deck games such as poker right through to six deck blackjack.  Another benefit of the One2Six shuffler, is that whilst one deck is being dealt from the machine the 2nd deck in a poker game is being shuffled, thus achieving more hands per hour than the conventional single deck shuffler currently available on the market.  The machine also offers increased levels of security and integrity to the game.

    With just a short lull in the South African market before the new casinos come on line such as Tsogo Sun's Sun Coast casino in Durban and Century Casino's 30 table 750 slot operation in Krugersdorp, John Huxley SA have been busy opening Casino Flamingo for Sun International in Kimberley and also Meropa Casino again for Sun International in Pietersburg.

    Further a field, orders have been obtained from the Seacliff Group to equip their new casino Le Grande situated in the heart of Daresalam.

    In the north of Namibia, John Huxley supplied the entire casino due to open shortly named Punyu casino. Jambo Casino situated 4 hours north of Narobi selected John Huxley to supply and install their Roulette wheels, cards and layouts in this, the first casino in Eldoret.  We would like to wish the owners Mr Kim and Mr Yang the best of luck with their new venture.  Sic Management of Mauritius has placed a large order for commemorative chips and layouts which will be sponsored by M-tel the communication service provider which will give them a unique opportunity to market their company to the Mauritian public.
