Casino Journal Becomes Official Publication of AGEM

     GEM Communications, publisher of the world’s leading gaming industry publications, has entered in a partnership agreement with the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM). GEM’s monthly publication Casino Journal has been named the exclusive, official publication of AGEM. The agreement will begin with the magazine’s July 2002 edition.
 

    As part of the agreement, AGEM will provide a monthly column in the magazine that it will use to promote its mission to the industry. The AGEM logo and endorsement will appear on Casino Journal’s cover and masthead, establishing Casino Journal as AGEM’s exclusive official publication.
 

    "GEM’s publications - especially Casino Journal - have provided extensive news coverage of AGEM’s growing prominence in the industry in recent years, and our editorial pages have drawn attention to the important role that AGEM plays within the industry," said Bill Newman, CEO of GEM Communications. "GEM is honored to be selected as the official publication of AGEM and to build on its positive relationship with AGEM by entering into this partnership."
 

    Robert A. McMonigle, Executive Director of AGEM , said the partnership will benefit both
organizations and the industry as a whole.
