Suki Scade gets ATE conference call

London
4th March, 2002

ATE – the exhibitions to e-commerce business, best known for its annual ATEI and ICE events in London – has underpinned its move into full-time conference organising with the appointment of Suki Scade to the newly-created post of Conference Manager.

Suki, a graduate of Nottingham University and Nottingham Law School, has four years experience of the commercial B2B conference industry having previously worked with the Mobile Telecommunications Division at Informa Group Plc, which included spells in both Sydney and London.

ATE Marketing & Commercial Director, Julian Graves said: “The commercial landscape is changing at a very rapid pace and specialist knowledge-based conferences provide an excellent vehicle to satisfy the growing need for management information and business networking.” He continued: “Conference organisers from outside our industry have already begun staging events which ATE, with its broad knowledge base and strong involvement in industry affairs, would be ideally suited to co-ordinate. Suki brings with her the professional conference managing skills and knowledge to help ATE develop this important business strand.”

Suki Scade’s first major task will be to co-ordinate and manage the forthcoming Eurotechno conference, which takes place on 14th May at the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. Enquiries to sscade@atei.co.uk; tel. +44 20 7713 0302.
