WMS Gaming To Design SURVIVOR Branded Slot Machines for Placement on IGT Wide-Area Progressive System

WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS),
announced today that it has secured the North American licensing
rights to develop and market slot machines based on the hit
reality-based television series, SURVIVOR™, from CBS Consumer
Products, the licensing and merchandising division of CBS Enterprises.

SURVIVOR is the "popular entertainment brand" highlighted in last
week's announcement by WMS Gaming and IGT, a subsidiary of
International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), detailing their agreement
whereby WMS will design and market slot machines based on this branded
entertainment property, which will be manufactured by IGT and placed
on IGT's MegaJackpots™ wide-area, progressive-linked jackpot
system. Plans call for submitting the game for regulatory approval
within the next nine months. All game placements are subject to
receiving applicable regulatory approvals.

The SURVIVOR series, which completed its second blockbuster season
last night with SURVIVOR: The Australian Outback, places ordinary
people in a primitive environment where they live off the land and
fend for themselves as members of tribes, while simultaneously
competing in a series of challenges. In each episode, one person is
voted out of the tribe by the others, with the last remaining
"Survivor" winning the grand prize of one million dollars.

"Hot on the heels of last night's blockbuster season finale of
SURVIVOR, WMS is proud to announce this latest licensing arrangement,"
said Brian R. Gamache, President and Chief Operating Officer of WMS
Industries Inc. "CBS has the number one hit on television with this
show, and we are confident that the built-in base of over 20 million
SURVIVOR fans and viewers will translate into phenomenal player
interest. The SURVIVOR brand is a major addition to our pipeline of
branded titles and further strengthens WMS Gaming's reputation as one
of the top suppliers of premiere, entertainment-based, participation
gaming products. SURVIVOR's incredible broad-based appeal, coupled
with different bonusing and jackpots that are available through IGT's
MegaJackpots™ system, should prove to be a major attraction for
casino patrons."

"SURVIVOR is one of CBS' top properties, and we're confident that
WMS Gaming will maximize the series' popularity and excitement through
its innovative game design," said Kenneth L. Ross, Vice President CBS
Consumer Products. "The decision to enhance the game with the addition
of IGT's linked jackpot system gives us further indication that the
SURVIVOR branded slot machines will be big blockbusters in casinos,
just as the weekly show has been on television. We look forward to
extending the brand into this exciting and profitable medium."

The SURVIVOR MegaJackpots™ game represents the first time that
a WMS gaming product will be placed on a wide-area progressive system.
The first SURVIVOR-themed game will utilize IGT's extended-odds
Telnaes patented technology, which IGT has licensed to WMS for the
development of the SURVIVOR game.
