CHICAGO and LAS VEGAS
April 10, 2000

The Expansion of One of the Gaming Industry's Most Successful Licensed Product Line Continues -

WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS),
announced that it received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control
Board to sell its latest video gaming device, MONOPOLY(R) Movers &
Shakers(TM). With the introduction of this latest revenue
participation, multi-line, multi-coin video product, WMS continues to
maximize its exclusive worldwide license with Hasbro, Inc. by
extending its line of innovative MONOPOLY slot machines. WMS
anticipates placing the devices in casinos early in the second
calendar quarter of 2000.
Movers & Shakers, the sixth game in the series of the successful
MONOPOLY product line, harnesses the power of the world-recognized
MONOPOLY brand. The game has a bold new color scheme and brings brand
new features, like bonus awards for certain dice combinations and a
race between the MONOPOLY game tokens, to the player while maintaining
the feel of the classic board game.
WMS will be offering Movers & Shakers, like all games in the
MONOPOLY product line, to casino operators on a revenue participation
or daily lease basis, allowing the Company to generate a stream of
recurring revenues. The release of Movers & Shakers reflects WMS
Gaming's continued commitment to maintain superior earnings for its
line of MONOPOLY brand slot machines.

Movers & Shakers Game Play

Movers & Shakers is a nine-line, five-reel video slot with the MR.
MONOPOLY character, MONOPOLY game money and game tokens as some of its
reel symbols. A special base game bonus, called the MONOPOLY Money
Picture Pay, is awarded when three sections of a MONOPOLY bill line up
on a horizontal payline forming a complete bill. When all lines are
bet, a $50 bill pays 50 times, $100 bill pays 100 times and $500 bill
pays 500 times the line bet.
With three GO symbols on an active payline, the second screen
bonus begins. The energetic MR. MONOPOLY appears and invites the
player to choose a token to start the bonus. The player will receive a
minimum of three spins every bonus round. By touching the SPIN icon on
the screen, the four corner squares flash and the token travels from
one of the four corner squares to a randomly selected square on the
game board. The player can watch the action on both the monitor and
game board in the top box. The token stops on a square and MR.
MONOPOLY tosses two dice in the air. Dice combinations may result in
extra bonuses, for example, the Snake Eyes Bonus with two ones, gives
the player twice the value of the property. If the dice land with a
value of seven, the Neighbor Bonus is awarded which is the value of
that property plus that of the two properties on either side. A
player-friendly Spin Summary in the upper right corner of the monitor
summarizes the awards for the spin showing the Property Landed On
bonus amount and Dice Bonus amount, if applicable. The spin summary
adds up the bonuses for all spins for that bonus round.
If the dice land with a total value of twelve, the Token Race
Bonus appears where the player's token competes with three others in a
race for bonus credits. Top prizes range from 200 to 500 bonus credits
times the line bet. The bonus round will go up to a maximum of 15
spins.
Approvals for Movers & Shakers in other jurisdictions in the
United States and Canada are currently pending.
