Gaming Technology Conference to Explore Cashless, Regulatory, Marketing, Internet Issues

New Jersey
May 31st, 2001

What roadblocks remain on the path toward cashless gaming?
How will Internet gaming impact land-based casinos?
How will regulators respond to emerging technologies?

These and other questions will be addressed June 28 at the Third Annual Technology and Gaming Conference in the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel.

The keynote speaker is Joe Kaminkow, vice president of engineering and design at International Game Technology (IGT), the world’s largest manufacturer of slot machines.  Kaminkow has been heralded as an innovator who has given life to slots that blur the lines between gaming and other forms of entertainment.  From “The Addams Family” to “Little Green Men” and beyond, Kaminkow has helped foster an explosion in slot creativity.  “Joe Kaminkow’s role at IGT is a case study in how to link technology and player appeal,” said Michael Pollock, event co-producer.  “He offers unique insights into the future of slots, largely because he will play a key role in shaping that future.”

“This conference will explore many critical issues.  Anyone who needs to know how technology can – and will – impact the casino industry should attend,” said Cory Morowitz, chairman of Conference co-host AQS2.

The one-day conference is organized by Michael Pollock’s Gaming Industry Observer and AQS2 – Advanced Quantitative and Strategic Solutions, LLC.  Gaming Industry Observer (www.gamingobserver.com) is an award-winning newsletter that tracks technological, political, social and economic trends that impact the casino industry.  The newsletter’s archives are now available on-line.  AQS2 is the training and consulting subsidiary of Bernstein, Simpson, Gilbert & Morowitz, LLC.  The firm provides the gaming industry with management consulting services and training in analytical techniques for managerial

The keynote speaker is sponsored by AC Coin and Slot Service Company, the Atlantic City and Caribbean Distributor of IGT gaming equipment and manufacturer of proprietary slot machines, table games, mill work, 3-D custom signage and seating.  Jerry
