Orders for two new independent casinos in the UK and continuing installations and US Gaming Board testing of Rapid Roulette™

UK Independent Licenses

    John Huxley has received the orders for the gaming equipment for the 2 latest independent licenses in the UK.

    The first, in West Bromwich, The Shaftesbury Casino is set to open in the late summer and will offer a fantastic new gaming location to this previously untapped area of the West Midlands. Barry de Lacey is deservedly proud of the granting of this new license which will consist of American Roulette, Blackjack, Casino Stud Poker and Stud Poker tables. Mark 7 American Roulette wheels, Winning Number Displays are being supplied along with the complete range of wheelchecks, value chips and gaming accessories.

    The second is the Victoria Club in Nottingham.  This operation is again set to open in the late summer and is set to become a benchmark for UK provincial casinos.  The building is being refurbished to its former glory of the Reform Club and will feature bespoke gaming furniture throughout.  John Huxley, as well as a custom-made surveillance system, is supplying all gaming equipment.  We wish Sean Akins and the General Manager, Donna Farthing every success.

    Gala Clubs have recently confirmed that Rapid Roulette™ will be installed at the International Casino in Nottingham. The 12-station unit is to be installed shortly at the International and is set to attract new players to the gaming floor by offering the traditional Roulette game in a non-intimidatory environment.

    Napoleons Casino Hull are increasing their Rapid Roulette™ from 6 to 12 stations to cope with the extraordinary demand it has created in the first 8 weeks of play.  Early indications are that the unit is exceeding the performance of a standard roulette table by a substantial margin.

    Rapid Roulette™ is currently undergoing final testing in North America with the Michigan Gaming Board prior to being installed onto the gaming floor of the one of the world's largest Casino Operators.

    John Huxley is delighted to announce the appointment of Miranda Simpson to the Technical Sales Team.  Miranda has spent many years in Casino Operations including work with Carnival Cruise Lines.  Her last 3 years have been with Crown Casino in Australia where she concentrated on MIS and specifically work with Rapid Roulette™.

    The Ritz Club have placed the order for the re-chipping of their entire bank of value chips with John Huxley.

    John Huxley South Africa continues to lead the way after receiving the order for the new Casinos Austria International operated Golden Horseshoe Casino in Pietermaritzburg. Not only have John Huxley been awarded the order for all table gaming equipment, but also the complete surveillance operation. 

    The casino will consist of 8 deluxe American roulettes, 8 reversible deluxe Blackjacks and a 14 player Punto Banco table.  The entire range of operational accessories has also been ordered along with Mark 7 American Roulette wheels and the Infinity Plus® system.

    Rapid Roulette™ continues to expand throughout the world with 3 new installations covering the UK and US markets, with an agreement also signed by one of the major Canadian Operators.

    John Huxley has received the order for the latest license to be granted in Malta.  Casino Municipale, who recently opened the highly successful Casino De Venezio, is operating the Vittoriosa Casino.  The casino will consist of 8 American Roulettes, 8 reversible Blackjacks and 2 Midi Punto Banco tables.  Wheels, Winning Number Displays, wheelchecks, chips and Chipper 2000 Chipping Machines have also been ordered for this new operation.

   Grosvenor Casinos have confirmed an order for Winning Number Displays from John Huxley for their new operations in Birmingham and Blackpool.
