Development Committee Aims To Make ICE The Main Event

'Building increased value for visitors and exhibitors alike'
Was the theme of the first International Casino Exhibition (ICE) Development Committee meeting held recently at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, London Heathrow.

The Development Committee comprises 11 individuals representative of the ICE exhibitor and visitor base together with three members of the organising team with specific responsibility for client liaison (Karen Cooke), marketing (Julian Graves) and operations (Dawn Millroy).

The purpose of the ICE Development Committee, which is scheduled to meet three times a year, is to help the ICE organisers to continue to meet the needs of both exhibitors and visitors and to develop the exhibition as the premier world event for the casino industry.

Explaining the value of the Development Committee ICE, Marketing Director Julian Graves said: "ICE was born out of the industry and it is vital that we continue to work with our customers to ensure that we continue to produce a world class and prestigious exhibition."

"The key feature of the ICE Development Committee is that it involves both exhibitors and buyers, thereby providing an all encompassing approach to the development of the exhibition. Everyone on the Committee is fully committed to working towards the end goal of making ICE the main casino event in the world."

The inaugural meeting included far ranging discussions covering new features for 2001, improved pre-registration, fast track on site registration, unique selling points of the exhibition, new geographical markets to target, out of show entertainment for visitors, new services and at show facilities including additional cloakrooms.
