    John Huxley has been successful in receiving the second major order for gaming equipment in Australia this year.  Following on from the success supply of over 40 tables to the new Club Conrad re-location at Jupiters Casino, John Huxley has received the order for the new Diamond Lounge at Burswood International Resort Casino.

    The extension to the Casino's main gaming floor, will consist of American Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat tables. Also included will be Starburst® American Roulette Wheels, The Infinity Plus® System, Wheelchecks, and all other operational accessories.

    John Huxley continues to be successful in the Cruise Ship market with 5 new orders taken over the last month.  Following on from supplying the newly branded P & O Princess ships - Aurora,Arcadia, Victoria and Oriana, John Huxley has just received the latest order for Celebrity Cruises.  The latest in the line of Millennium Class Vessels - Constellation will receive brand new bespoke tables and accessories. 

    Celebrity ships use the highest specification equipment and detailed work goes into supplying the detailed designs required for Celebrity.  We are delighted to continue working with Celebrity Cruises.
 
 

    The city of Pietermaritzburg is buzzing with excitement about the newly opened Golden Horse casino and edu-tainment centre. 

    But it's not just the building that has brought about this interest, as the impressive casino attendance figures prove. The first day saw 4500 eager visitors through the casino door. Steve Bullen, general manager of the Golden Horse is delighted with the turnout. "We have had 6000 visitors in under two days." he said, "and within the first ten minutes of opening, the Golden Horse produced a jackpot winner'

    This is the first permanent legal casino in KwaZulu-Natal and boasts 450 gambling machines and 18 tables. Joint owners Gold Reef Casino Resorts, Casinos Austria International and empowerment consortium Akani Leisure Msunduzi Investments estimate turnover of the casino to exceed R100 million in the first year of operation. To date over R12 million has been paid out, and three cars have been given away. 

    Already the casino development has brought 650 permanent new jobs to the city and it expects to employ another 350 by the end of the year.

    John Huxley was delighted to be chosen as the single source supplier for this operation.  All tables, wheels, Infinity® Plus systems, operational accessories and value chip and wheelcheck banks were supplied through the South Africa John Huxley office.  In addition, a complete surveillance system was also installed comprising of over 350 cameras.

    All this is really exciting news for the people of Pietermaritzburg and a certain attraction to anyone not fortunate enough to live here.
