Nevada Poker players will soon have a chance to Chase the Royal™

The dream of every poker player is to be dealt a Royal Flush. A new video poker game approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board will give players a chance at the elusive Royal four times as often as in regular video poker.

Chase the Royal™, an intriguing variation on Triple Play/Five Play/Ten Play Draw Poker™, is the latest wrinkle in video poker from game designer Action Gaming, Inc.  IGT developed and will distribute the new game.

“This game’s interesting twist is that it is the first multi-hand poker game that gives players the option to trade a guaranteed winning combination for most of a significantly higher-paying winning combination: a Royal Flush,” said Ernie Moody, owner and president of Action Gaming, Inc. and creator of Chase the Royal™.

When dealt a pair of Jacks, Queens or Kings with a maximum bet, a player gets the chance to play the original hand for a guaranteed win, or trade the hand for three suited cards towards a Royal Flush. The three cards replace the original five-card hand and are duplicated in all active hands.  The game is finished when the player draws two additional cards to “chase the Royal.”  To sweeten the pot, the paytable doubles when a flush or a straight is dealt.

Chase the Royal™ is easy to play, since the game suggests the cards to hold in each hand.  And the game offers a variety of poker favorites including Jacks or Better Poker, Bonus Poker, Bonus Poker Deluxe and Double Bonus Poker.
