Novomatic Give ICE Massive Backing
London,
9th August, 2001
-
Novomatic Register Biggest Stand In ICE History
-
11 territories feature in top twenty exhibitor list
-
ICE gets 21 nation salute
-
As of July reservations exceed total space sold at ICE 2001
Any of the 5000 + buyers expected to attend the
2002 International Casino Exhibition (ICE) who fail to notice the Novomatic
stand will be in urgent need of an eye test. The Austrian company will
have a giant 511 sq metre presence, which will not only be the biggest
stand at ICE but the biggest in the entire Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
Apart from Novomatic’s huge presence – the largest
single stand in the history of ICE – a key feature of the latest exhibitor
data released by the organisers is the overwhelming international flavour
of the casino floor. As of 31st July no fewer than seven territories are
represented in the top ten list of largest exhibitors with 11 featuring
in the top 20.
The top 20 line-up includes representatives from
the UK, and Netherlands (three companies each), Austria, Germany, Spain,
USA, and Slovenia (two) and one each from France, Italy, Monaco and Japan.
Outside of the top twenty, companies from Antigua,
Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Ireland, Taiwan, Russia, South Africa
and Sweden have all completed contracts to confirm their presence in London.
Karen Cooke, Sales Manager responsible for ICE said:
"Six months ahead of the show we’ve contracted nearly 90% of the total
exhibition space sold at ICE 2001 and already reserved more space than
the total size of the 2001 event. The real internationalism of this event
is crystallised by the line-up of contracted exhibitors in which no single
country is dominant. This means that buyers travelling to ICE will get
a global rather than a national perspective on the industry in which they
operate.“
