The Veterans Day holiday turned into a big instant payday for a threesome of lucky winners at three separate East Coast casinos who were all playing the popular Betty Boop-themed progressive slots from Alliance Gaming Corporation’s (Nasdaq: ALLY) Bally Gaming and Systems business unit.

In the span of just 26 hours, the slots featuring the renowned Roaring 20s cartoon flapper paid out $810,292.67 in payouts, marking the 71st, 72nd and 73rd times the Betty Boop-themed wide-area progressive jackpots have hit nationally.

To date, Betty Boop slots have now produced a total of $18,977,800 in top awards paid instantly to lucky players.

Cynthia Schwarzenbach of Schuylkill Haven, Pa., hit the first jackpot of $111,035.71 at 3:25 ET p.m. Saturday at Bally’s Wild Wild West Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., on a quarter “Roaring 20s” game, one of 10 distinct game versions in the Betty Boop slots series. On Sunday at 4:02 p.m., a lucky player from Massachusetts hit the second jackpot of $593,964.49 on a quarter “Roaring 20s” game at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Mary Ellen Driscoll of Philadelphia hit the third Betty Boop jackpot of $105,292.47 on yet another quarter “Roaring 20s” game at 5:04 p.m. at Harrah’s Atlantic City.

The jackpot at Foxwoods was the 11th time the Betty Boop progressive jackpot has hit at the popular Connecticut casino, producing $3,729,911 in instant-pay winnings for Foxwoods players.

“Betty Boop has been a strong game at Foxwoods ever since her debut here and we are proud to have more Betty Boop jackpot winners than any other casino location in the country,” said Tony Celona, Vice President of Slot Operations for Foxwoods, the world’s largest casino.

The Betty Boop slots are the latest in a series of entertaining, high-jackpot games on Bally Gaming’s exclusive Thrillions™ wide-area progressive link. The game produces frequent jackpots and immediate payment to winners, offering a $100,000 initial jackpot that increases in relationship to combined number and frequency of players wagering on the network. The game also incorporates Bally Gaming’s unique multi-denomination feature that enables games of different denomination to contribute to, and compete for, a common jackpot.

In addition to the Thrillions link in Atlantic City, a national Native American link that includes Connecticut and California, and statewide links in Nevada and Mississippi offer separate Betty Boop’s Big Hit wide-area progressive systems.

Alliance Gaming is a diversified gaming company with headquarters in Las Vegas. The company is engaged in the design, manufacture, distribution and operation of advanced gaming devices and systems worldwide, is the nation’s largest gaming machine route operator, and operates two casinos.
