    On June 30, 2001 the first casino in Sweden – Casino Cosmopol in Sundsvall - celebrated its grand opening. With a festive opening ceremony followed by a long party night the casino opened its doors for invited guests. The public opening then followed on July 1. 

    Atronic was delighted to be selected as a major supplier for the four planned Casino Cosmopol locations in Sweden during the Las Vegas show last year. In the Sundsvall Casino 30% of the slot floor is covered by Atronic games. Machines installed include games of Atronic´s new CASHLINE series as well as a variety of popular video slots like I.C. MONEY and SPHINX, games that have proved to be top-earners on casino floors all over the world. 

    Casino Cosmopol’s C.E.O Meg Tivéus stated, “We are very pleased with our first Casino in Sweden. Together with Atronic’s proven products, we will have a good variety of machines.”

    The CASHLINE games bring a new dimension of fun to the gaming floor, featuring enhanced 3-D graphics in combination with an exceptional stereo sound package. In addition, all Cashline games are equipped with a touch screen interface for enhanced player interaction and exciting new game features. Furthermore, Atronic’s well-introduced Roulette games are represented in this casino. 

    An Atronic technician was present for the installation and helped to make sure that everything went smoothly for the grand opening. Atronic Sales Manager, Stuart German, said “It has been a very exciting start to the project and we look forward to working with Casino Cosmopol in the future.”
