Gaming managers can learn world-class analytical
techniques at a unique workshop
Conducted by the gaming consulting and training firm AQS2 – Advanced Quantitative and Strategic Solutions, gaming managers will learn to enhance their properties’ profitability through concepts and techniques taught in major MBA programs and utilized by Fortune 500 companies. Topics include Net Present Value, Economic Value Added, financial modeling and forecasting, regression analysis, optimization, queuing theory, and process mapping and management. According to trainer Cory Morowitz, chairman of AQS2, “This program is designed for executives, managers and directors who want to take their operations to a higher level of performance. These techniques can be applied immediately to improve customer service, operations and finance.” Morowitz notes that participants do not need extensive finance or math backgrounds before taking this course. “We review basic concepts and break down the techniques into small components. We also use case studies specific to the gaming industry, and each participant has use of a computer terminal for hands-on training.” The firm has successfully trained hundreds of professionals from all types of casinos, “everything from large-cap casino operators to small Native American properties – even lottery commissions and gaming operators from as far away as Aruba,” says Morowitz. They also offer in-house training for individual gaming properties. For details and registration information, contact Morowitz at (609) 646-9367. 8025 Black Horse Pike, Suite 400
