primary mission of the NIGC is to regulate gaming activities on Indian
lands. Headquarters are in Washington, D.C.
California Gambling Control
Commission www.cgcc.ca.gov Oversees the 119 cardrooms
and 51 tribal casinos (April 2003) operating in the State. Works with the
The Division of Gambling Control (DGC) and Department of Justice (DOJ)
for issuing licenses and background checks.

Association (AIGA)

In September 2005 AIGA had a membership comprising 18 of Arizona's 22 gaming
tribes.
California Nations Indian
Gaming Association www.cniga.com Based in Sacramento. A non
profit Native American organization of over seventy tribes dedicated to
the protection of Indian sovereignty and tribal gaming.

American Indian Gaming Industry. Founded in 1990. Complete state by state
listings of native Indian casinos in the US with website link or telephone
number.
Native American Casino
Magazine (NAC) www.nacasino.com Magazine for the Indian
Gaming industry and is dedicated to the growth and prosperity of the Native
American businessperson. Distributed monthly, and reaches over 10,000 people
in our industry. Produces an annual directory of North American Indian
casinos.
