According to the Florida Day Cruise Association* in November 2004 there were 17 casino boats operating in the state. The number of day ships reduced significantly in 2005 and the count in 2008 was believed to be 14. In 2011 it's probably only half a dozen

Port Everglades. Two night cruise vacations to Nassau, Bahamas onboard the Regal Majesty. Formerly Imperial Majesty Cruise Line ?
SunCruz Port Richey Casino
Port Richey. Table games and 300 slots on two decks. Vessel served by water taxies throughout the day.
Victory Casino Cruises
Port Canaveral. Victory I. Commenced operations in late July 2011.

Operations started in June 2007. 228ft twin hulled vessel located at Miami Beach Marina.
Ceased operations June 2008.
Leisure Lady Casino
Fort Myers Beach.
Liquid Vegas
Las Vegas Cruise Lines. Ceased operations May 2009. Ship now being auctioned off to pay off debts. Oct 2009.
Palm Beach Princess
Port of Palm Beach. Formerly the Viking Princess. 421ft, 6,422 grt with a passenger capacity of 850. Operated by International Thoroughbred Breeders Inc. and financed by Las Vegas based PDS Gaming.
SeaEscape Cruises
Port Everglades. The 512ft, 15,000grt M/V Island Adventure. 13 day cruises a week. The casino was formerly an onboard concession but is now run in house.
Operations ceased 17th August 2008.
Sterling Casino Lines
Port Canaveral. The 1,800 passenger Ambassador II sails twice a day with 4 main casinos onboard. 1,000 slots and 50 tables.
Update: Sterling closed its operations 7th July, 2008 after cancelling the 6th July cruise because of air-conditioning problems aboard the Ambassador II.
SunCruz Casinos
Oceans Casino Cruises, Inc.
SunCruz was founded in 1994 by Greek entrepreneur Gus Boulis who was assassinated in Miami on 6th February, 2001. The company operates out of 4 ports in Florida and one in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Daytona Beach and Madeira Beach operations were cancelled recently.

Mayport, Jacksonville. Ordered to leave U.S. waters within 72 hours following a Captain of the Port order on the 5th October, 2004.

Brunswick harbour. Operated by Golden Isles Casino Cruise Lines. Casino cruises seven days a week. 22 tables + Poker and circa 220 slots.
Diamond Casino
Savannah. Casino Cruises 7 days a week onboard the Midnight Gambler II

The Big "M" Casino
Myrtle Beach. Big "M" Casino's 2nd ship arrived from Fort Myers Beach, Florida in May 2008 and will replace the Southern Elegance. The operation is a joint venture between Big "M" and Lloyd Milliken.

The Texas Treasure sailed twice daily from Port Aransas, Texas. 419ft and 9,337 grt. Over 500 slots and 24 table games. Ceased operations in 2008 and the ship is now docked in Alang, India.
