| According to the Botswana
Casino Contol Board's 2004 report there are 8 casinos operating in the
country. The two largest being the Gaborone Sun and Walmont Ambassador
(Grand Palm). Some of the smaller venues are slots only.
In late June 2006 licenses
were granted for 3 aditional casinos, two in Gaborone and one in Palapye.
